Here's how it works
This 5 day MBA course is designed to give you a thorough overview of how business works and the way that each function interlinks; planning the business (strategic thinking); doing the business (operations management); managing the business (people and resources); marketing the business; financing the business (finance for non-financial managers). It focuses on the business issues surrounding companies in a regulatory framework applying to the finanical services industry today e.g.the move away from rules based regulation and its implications. The course delivers an understanding of the industry’s unique challenges and a comprehensive overview of what everyone should know to manage an organisation.
It does not intend to replace a traditional MBA with its theory, written assessments and reflective time. Instead you use debate, syndicate work and case studies to embed the learning. Rather than provide a standard generic set of modules we have built this programme to focus on the challenges that exist in the financial services industry, for example, when you look at strategy you will address the risks to this industry and consider how your business should manage those risks.
