Course outline
Increasing workload, too much to read, fewer support staff, smaller teams – if only there were more hours in the day…if this sounds like your working life then take heart.
In this intensive, high energy workshop, we’ll explore ways to win back time, to get vastly more from each day and to get more from our colleagues and team members.
This is not a standard time management course, focusing on to do lists and priorities. While they are important, there are many more ways to make and gain time. By the end of the workshop, you’ll know how to increase your productivity and how to work smarter rather than harder. See below for the detailed programme content.
Who should attend?
Anyone who is suffering from an overload of work and struggling to see how to manage it more effectively.
How delegates will benefit
• Become more aware of your own and others’ attitudes towards time and their impact on use of time
• Learn how to take control of your time by managing yourself effectively within time
• Discover how to delegate so the work is done well and to standards you expect
• Explore techniques of reading others, understanding their motivations and influencing them
• Learn and apply time saving tools which will help you to win back time in every working day
Trainer approach
This workshop combines a variety of methods, including group activities, sharing of experience and small group discussion, video and case studies. The overall approach is very practical, with opportunities to ground every theory in day to day practice.
