Lloyd’s Market Association selects CTP for new Academy initiative

The LMA has developed the new Lloyd’s Market Academy (LMALMA) in order to provide “a centre of educational excellence that will offer sophisticated and structured programmes to meet the professional education needs of the Lloyd’s Market.”
Following a competitive tender process, CTP has been selected to deliver a programme of training courses for the LMALMA, designed to give assistant and apprentice underwriters and claims staff a strong start in developing their careers in the Lloyd’s market.
“The Academy is a very positive development and we are delighted to have been chosen to deliver these courses,” said Martin Beaman, Insurance Director at CTP. “The LMA have been very clear that the quality of training will be key to the success of this venture and a commitment to quality is very much part of CTP.”
