Experience Counts
An alternative route to the RDR qualifications for experienced financial advisers.
Suitable for advisers, who may have many years experience of helping clients, but who do not want to take formal exams. They now have a choice. Following this route:
- enables advisers to be awarded a qualification that is RDR compliant that does not involve written examinations
- tests individuals on every area of the syllabus using their experience and knowledge evidenced through the work they do and their training records.
Sponsored by the National Skills Academy for Financial Services, designed by CTP and recognised by the Financial Services Authority, Experience Counts provides a route to pass the Chartered Banker Institute's Diploma in Investment Planning qualification which is RDR compliant.
This route is not suitable for those who advise on specific investments, for example Advisory Portfolio Management Services or for those who do not directly deal with clients such as paraplanners.
