Effective Change Management - the Key Steps

You are looking at one of our in-house courses. Many of our in-house programmes are also available as open courses on specific dates. Click here to see our open course calendar.

Outline & Objectives

Barring unforeseen and unpredictable events, change should be driven by planned revisions to strategy or the execution of that strategy. Unfortunately, however, much change in business is ill-conceived, inadequately communicated and poorly executed.

Strategic and operational change can be driven by a vast number of both internal and external forces.  An understanding of those forces will help you to understand not only why change is taking place, but also how to manage it in the most appropriate ways.

In this very practical and intensive, one-day course, you will learn:

  1. What drives change in business?
  2. The consequences of change
  3. Barriers to effective change
  4. Key steps and tools for successful change management
  5. How to manage reactions to change
  6. How to align culture with strategic and operational change
  7. How to communicate change

Who will benefit?

Anyone who has to lead or manage change; anyone wishing to understand more about the process and drivers of change; anyone tasked with helping in the change process.

Training Approach

We use a number of accelerated learning techniques to embed learning and enhance recall.  Any theory is immediately grounded in day-to-day working practice and everything that you learn on the course can be applied directly in the workplace.
