Enviromental, Social and Governance (ESG) has become a central, global concern with impacts on multiple levels of society. In financial services, it has continued to grow in scope as individuals and firms have prioritised ESG. Driven by climate events, forecasting and concerns for our collective future, it has become clear that ESG requires coordinated efforts across industries, sectors and governments on a global scale. This course will focus on current discussions, future regulations and standardised disclosures for ESG. In addition, the session will discuss how ESG is related to Consumer Duty, some of the issues pertaining to ESG reporting and how firms can begin preparing now for the implementation of anticipated regulatory change.
