As the FCA develops its expectations of good conduct, implements the new Consumer Duty and moves further towards outcomes focused regulation, it has become increasingly important for firms to have a fully embedded organizational culture of compliance.
As always, systems and controls need to be in place to identify, reduce and prevent serious harm from happening. Now, however, firms need to go beyond the identification and mitigation of conduct risk if they are to secure consistently high standards of performance and client satisfaction and, where relevant, meet their obligations under the Consumer Duty.
This workshop will address these new regulatory expectations and their implications and help participants identify what needs to be done in your firm to promote exemplary conduct, secure high standards as the norm, deliver a psychologically safe environment for all and prevent poor outcomes from occurring.
This workshop is aimed at directors and other senior managers involved in establishing and embedding their firm’s culture, managing the business compliantly and overseeing the behaviour of individuals. It will also be relevant to Risk and Compliance specialists, along with those responsible for board level oversight of the control functions. This workshop is equally appropriate for staff from solo regulated (FCA) or dual regulated (PRA and FCA) firms which are institutional/wholesale businesses and/or subject to the Consumer Duty.
